A legendary stop in Old Town could be yours. Promise us that you won't change a thing if you pick it up for a relative song.

'That's Crazy!' was what I exclaimed when I heard that the great Choice City Butcher & Deli's owners have decided to leave town and sell the shop. 'Come on!' I also shouted. Screams of 'Noooooo!' were also heard in the hallway when I announced it to our staff.

How many times have you been into the little joint, whether to just pick up some great butcher items to take home to prepare or to sit and enjoy the great dishes they've served up with maybe a craft beer or a bloody mary?

According to The Reporter-Herald and BizWest.com, the owners of the shop have decided to move to New England, where they have family, and have listed Choice City for a surprisingly low $385,000.

To me, there's been nothing more fun, or more more 'Fort Collins' than to run the St. Paddy's Day 5K and then hit up Choice City for some bacon, eggs, and bloody mary. Good times, indeed.

Choice City Buther & Deli has also been a place for live music, including being a part of the annual FoCoMX.

There's no way of knowing if new owners will keep the shop the same or turn it into one of those IV places. Let's hope for eggs and beer.
