A Greeley family is in need of our help as they search for their little furry family member who was taken from them on Tuesday.

According to the Greeley Tribune, Tasja Guerrero heard one of her dogs barking in her backyard at around 11am as she was getting her 2-year-old son out of the bathtub. It was then that she noticed her 3-month-old teacup poodle named Sophie was missing. Through her gate she noticed a gold-colored Dodge Caravan in the back alley behind her home. Thinking that Sophie might have escaped through the gate, Tasja approached the van and asked a woman in the van if she had seen her puppy. According to Tasja via the Tribune, the woman in the van said no and left. After searching the area, a passerby told her that she had seen the woman in the van holding the puppy.

Tasja called the Greeley police and filed a police report. The family is also offering a $100 reward for the return of Sophie. Guerrero told the Tribune that she won't press charges if Sophie is returned safely.

If you have any information that could help the Guerrero family and the Greeley Police Department, please call 970-350-9600 or the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
