The Greeley Police Department is seeking the public's help in an investigation involving a man who was shot on Saturday night (Jan. 30).

According to a post via the Greeley PD Facebook page, officers responded to a call of shots being fired in a parking lot near a restaurant in the 2600 block of 11th Street Road in Greeley at 6:45 p.m on Saturday night.

A man was taken to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound and admitted for surgery. As of Sunday night (Jan. 31), reports from the Greeley Police Department state the man was still hospitalized in serious condition.

Officers spoke with several people at the scene but have yet to make any arrests.

The news release states the subjects involved knew each other and that there is no immediate danger to the public.
