The Greeley Stampede 4th of July parade starts at 9 a.m. on Independence Day. The planes will fly overhead and the longhorns will kick off the parade on the ground. The Stampede Committee has promised a surprise for this year's parade. The Parade route runs the entire length of 10th Avenue, from 19th street on the UNC Campus to 5th street in Downtown Greeley.

The University of Northern Colorado, which has property along the route, does not allow tarps to stake out a spot on their property along the parade route. It kills the grass within days because they restrict the water and oxygen the grass gets.

Look for the K99 float featuring our own D Dennison's son and his band, The Zachariah Dean Band.

After the parade, head over to Island Grove Park for the PRCA Rodeo Finals at 1 p.m. in the rodeo arena.
