A Greeley woman has been accused of stealing more than $260,000 from her Greeley-based employer.

Melissa Granados was the office manager of E&T Electric in Greeley when the alleged crime occurred. According to the arrest affidavit, she was responsible for completing QuickBooks accounting for the company, giving her easy access to the company's funds. Back in July, a $2000 payment was sent to Granoados bank account from the business' bank account, raising suspicion.

The Denver Post is reporting that E&T Electric reported the suspected transactions to the Greeley Police on September 3. They now believe there are more than 50 fraudulent transactions between January of 2015 and July 2019, totaling more than half a million dollars.
