Greeley is changing the iconic "Oktoberfest" to their very own "Oktobrewfest" for the upcoming brew filled season.

But don't despair! The same German traditions will still occur in Lincoln Park with some new and exciting changes.

According to the Director of Experience with the Downtown Development Authority, Alison Hamling,

“It was time for a name change to match the natural evolution of the festival. The popularity of our selection of specialty brews and the addition of the VIP tasting tent are factors that went into the name change. It’s also increasingly difficult to find strictly German heritage entertainment. We will honor tradition as much as possible but will start integrating more contemporary artists.”
