Guess Who Just Bought A Chunk Of Weight Watchers?

YOU GET A WEIGHT WATCHERS MEMBERSHIP! AND YOU GET A WEIGHT WATCHERS MEMBERSHIP! EVERYONE GETS A WEIGHT WATCHERS MEMBERSHIP!!!!!!!!!

That's what Oprah Winfrey will be screaming now that she's an owner of the famed international weight loss company Weight Watchers.

The media mogul and CEO of the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) is now on the board of directors and is set to own 10% of the company, a total of 6.4 million shares at Friday's closing price of $6.79 per share for a total of $43.2 million.

The weight loss company made the following statement on its Facebook page:

We're thrilled to share some big news today - Oprah Winfrey has joined our Board and is a part owner of Weight Watchers! She's a Member on her own personal journey toward success, and she believes so much in what we do and our mission that she wants to work with us to inspire people around the world to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives. I guess that, now, Cards Against Humanity is gonna need to change their Oprah card from "Home video of Oprah sobbing into a Lean Cuisine" to "Home video of Oprah sobbing over a Weight Watchers point overage." Or something like that. (Totally kidding.)
