Guitar Auction Raises $25,000 for Honor Flight Northern Colorado [PICTURES]

We packed Ricky B’s in Windsor on Veterans Day evening to raise money for Honor Flight Northern Colorado. K99 and Sean Curtis Band teamed up for an auction and concert that raised over $25,000 to send our veterans to Washington D.C. Thanks to everyone who kept giving, we raised several thousand after the event was over.

A huge thank you to all of the artists who donated items for our silent auction and our live guitar auction, including: Cassade Pope, Casey Donahew, Cold River Records and Drew Baldridge, Dan+Shay, FGL, Jennifer Nettles, Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan, Trisha Yearwood, Rascal Flatts, Old Dominion, William Michael Morgan, Drake White, Tucker Beathard, Craig Campbell, Joe Nichols, Brothers Osborne, Lee Brice, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Eric Church, Trace Adkins, Darius Rucker, Sam Hunt, Lady A, and Dave Collins with Reviver Records. Also thanks to Weitzel and Sons Excavating for donating a couple of Jack Daniels guitars for our auction.

The big package of the night was the George Strait autographed guitar with 2 tickets to see George in Vegas at TMobile Arena on February 17th or 18th, and hotel accommodations at The D Hotel and Casino. That package raised nearly $5,000 on its own. Thanks to our auctioneer, Paul Logue, Ricky B's in Windsor, all of our volunteers and our buddy Tim Elliott of Sean Curtis Band for coming up with the idea for the event. Also, thanks to Brian's wife, Kyla, for helping set up the event and my wife, Jenny, for taking all of the pictures.
