Every year, it seems like Black Friday bleeds earlier and earlier into the Thanksgiving holiday. That's convenient for shoppers who want to score deals, but it's not so great for employees.

According to Denver7, several stores have already confirmed that they will not be open on Thanksgiving this year, and many of them have locations in Fort Collins, Loveland and Greeley.

A few include hardware stores like Ace and Lowes, as well as Costco and TJ Maxx stores (which includes HomeGoods, Sierra Trading Post). Stock up on pet supplies, too, because both PetSmart and Petco will not be open.

REI will not only be closed Thanksgiving, but also Black Friday. Instead, they encourage you to get outside the day after Turkey Day.
