Hang Out With Alpacas in Loveland for Two Days
Stargazer Ranch Alpacas in Loveland will be holding an “Open Barn”. Everyone’s invited and... it’s FREE.
Think of an “Open Barn” as an “Open House” except in a barn instead of a home. No RSVP required, just bring your alpaca-loving self to the Stargazer Ranch.
The ranch will have the "Open Barn" March 23 and 24 from 10am to 4pm, and I’m still not sure if that’s enough time.
You can hang out with the alpacas and learn more about them with two different classes. Each day during the open barn they’ll have a “What’s The Fuss About Fiber” class at 11am and an “Alpacas 101” class held at 1pm.
One thing I’ve learned is that alpacas naturally produce a luxury fiber every year.
To demonstrate how great alpaca fibers are, there will be spinning and weaving demonstrations throughout both days. So, you’ll be able to enjoy the softness of the “Royal Grade” quality alpaca woven goods.
Side note: Some areas on site are relatively accessible to wheelchairs.
