You've heard me over and over mentioning that all vehicles are welcome in any motorcycle poker run. This has never been more true than for this weekend.

When an event it titled with "Harley's and Hot Rod's" it pretty much means, just that. It's kind of the entire point; to get a bunch of bikes and hot rod's out together, have a great time, raise some money for a great cause, and who knows, maybe make a new friend or two.

The event is a benefit for help raise a few bucks for Pat McGoldrick, who is battling Melanoma skin cancer. Registration is at The Hideout (1903 E Lincoln Ave.) starting at 9:00 a.m. Cost is $20 rider/driver, $5 for a passenger, and $5 for extra hand's if you so desire.

I also know they have some fantastic prizes to giveaway including $200 towards a new tattoo, a beautiful canoe 8 hours of portable welding (that's not cheap), a bunch of equine stuff and they'll even have some girls that are very easy to look at available to wash your bike at the end.

The event ends at the Full Moon Saloon (206 Main St.) in Pierce and with the forecast calling for sunshine and 91, it'll be a great day. For more information call Jen at 970-412-7455 or head to their event site on Facebook by clicking on the link below.
