If you're driving in the snow and it's bad weather CDOT could have the Code 15 traction law restriction.

What does this mean for you and your tires?

Snow, All weather, Mud, 4 wheel drive tires must have at least 1/8 of an inch of tread. Additionally, for two drive tires you must have chains, auto sock, etc.

If your vehicle doesn't meet those requirements and you end up blocking traffic, you could be charged a $500 fine, plus an additional $157 surcharge! OUCH!
