Rumors are circulating that Former Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper is considering ending his run for president and entering the Colorado Senate race.

When asked about the rumors the Hickenlooper campaign refused to respond. Colorado Democrats are pushing the former governor to enter the race to take out Republican Cory Gardner.

Hickenlooper is polling at the bottom of the list for potential presidential candidates. The Democrats in the Senate need 3 seats to take control from Republicans in the 2020 election. In June, staff members told Hickenlooper he should find a graceful way to get out of the presidential race.

On Tuesday, a website was launched by scientists to encourage Hickenlooper to run for the Colorado Senate seat currently held by Cory Gardner.
