The highs winds continue to blow through northern Colorado and some semi drivers are having trouble keeping their rigs upright.

High winds caused a semitrailer to overturn on Interstate 25 north of Wellington on Monday morning.

The southbound semi turned over at mile marker 290, just north of the Buckeye exit, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Radio communications indicated the truck landed in the center median and there were some closures in the southbound lanes of I-25. Dispatchers also reported responders on the scene requested help cleaning up 75 to 150 gallons of diesel fuel.
