As this year’s election season comes to a close in Fort Collins, it’s time to start thinking about how to recycle your campaign signs.

Campaign signs made out of paperboard can be recycled at three locations:

  1. Signarama  (1600 E Mulberry St., Unit 2)
  2. Fort Collins Recycling Drop-off Center (Northeast corner of Riverside and Prospect, behind Rivendell school)
  3. Larimer County Recycling Drop-off Center (At the Larimer County Landfill on S. Taft Hill Rd.)

Signarama will accept the metal sign holders, but if you choose to recycle at the drop-off centers, you must take the metal sign holders to a local scrap metal recyclerThe wire sign holder must be removed from the sign no matter which location.

Signarama will also accept the two other types of campaign signs, corrugated plastic and plastic bag signs, as well as the wire stands and metal frames used to hold those signs. Signarama will accept campaign signs in the bins at the back service entrance from Wednesday, April 8th through Friday, April 10th from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
