How Main Street in Windsor Makes Me Feel Christmas Every Morning

I love Christmas! I get very warm, lovey and emotional this time of year. I love the feeling in my heart, the smells, the sounds, the sights and everything to do with the season. I want this bottled up to use all year round. There are certain things that just make me FEEL Christmas.

The sight of a single candle in the window gets me. I know my mom would always light one when I wasn't going to be home for Christmas to represent me. Mom always said that I AM Christmas to her. That still chokes me up. Seeing a tree all decorated and smiling kids makes this time of year impossible to beat.

I want to thank the town of Windsor for making my soul full of the spirit every single morning. I get to drive to this wonderful place every day. I am on the road pulling into town every weekday about 3 am and there is really nobody else out there, just me and my thoughts. I turn down Main Street and am greeted by the sight of simple beautiful Christmas lights on every tree down the street. There is no one out but me and the lights and it makes me smile and feel grateful every single time. There is nothing like being alone on a road lit up by Christmas lights to make you feel something special.

I love how my little town of Windsor embraces this season and makes me feel the way I do every day. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a joyous whatever you choose to celebrate. May it be filled with joy, love, memories that last forever and feelings like I get every morning on my drive down Main Street in Windsor.
