Drew Lock will get his third start Sunday and another chance to prove he's the Denver Broncos franchise quarterback.

A week after the signal caller from Missouri helped Denver (5-8) take down the AFC South-leading Houston Texans 38-24, Lock has another tough road start against the rival Kansas City Chiefs (9-4) in an 11 a.m. showdown.

Denver has lost eight straight to the rival Chiefs — including a 30-6 Thursday Night loss at Mile High earlier in the season. Kansas City has already clinched its fourth-straight AFC West title.

Lock has brought new life to the Broncos, throwing for 443 yards and five touchdowns in his his two victorious starts. Last week, he connected with fellow rookie tight end Noah Fant for four catches, 113 yards and a touchdown — providing some optimism for a long stagnant Denver offense.
