As I-25 expands in Northern Colorado, a portion of the frontage road will be permanently closed starting next week.

The Loveland Reporter-Herald shared that 'the frontage road between Colo. 56/Weld County Road 44 and Weld County Road 46' will no longer be in use starting Monday, January 6.

'A full closure of the I-25 frontage road...will begin on January 6,' CDOT said. 'This closure will be permanent and is the first phase of a larger frontage road closure plan. All properties and utility companies will have access maintained to their property.' [Read more here.]
