Outthere Colorado reported that things got so messy on the interstate, the westbound lanes closed east of Denver. One incident involved a semitruck and an ambulance, however there were no injuries reported, CSP Limon tweeted.

The eastern plains of Colorado are dealing with more ice and snow then the Front Range I-25 corridor, the National Weather service said, but our roads are still slippery, so remember to give yourself plenty of space, and drive slowly.

The rest of the week will be warmer in Northern Colorado, with the possibility snow returning on Friday.
