For years my hobby has been taking photos. I started out on a small 3.2 megapixel Canon point and shoot I bought for $200 on a trip to Atlanta about a decade ago. I eventually upgraded to a Canon Digital SLR with interchangeable lenses a few years after my first purchase. One of my favorite things to shoot is city skylines. Considering that I have lived in a few major metropolitan cities, you would figure that I would have taken photos while living there. I did not however... I did get the opportunity to go back to Florida over the holidays and figured that it was time to take the photos of the two skylines that I was missing for my project.

I'll start off with the city that I grew up in. A familiar sight to all of us who travel to the Mile High City for any given reason.

We left Denver in 2007 out west for a year to live in Eugene, Oregon, we ended up moving all the way across the country to our next location in the Sunshine State of Florida.

Tampa, Florida.

After a few years in Tampa, I was offered a job within the state lines, this time in Northeast Florida where we were there for a little over 3 years.

Another opportunity arose in a different city. So this time we packed everything up for a 3000 mile trek across the country, finally landing on the west coast in the state of Oregon.

Finally, we managed to make our way back home to Colorado. All four of these skylines will now be printed off on canvas to hang in our new home that we will be closing on at the end of this month right here in NoCo! It will be a nice little reminder of the places we've been, the experiences we have had and the friends we have made along the way to the path of owning our first home!
