A school shooting threat from a Florida woman has cancelled most Northern Colorado schools on Wednesday.

Poudre School District, Thompson School District, Weld RE-4 Windsor-Severance Schools, Johnstown-Milliken RE-5 and Greeley-Evans School Districts are all closed. So are many other schools in the Denver metro and along the Front Range.

Described as 5-foot-5 with brown hair, she was last seen in a black shirt with camouflage pants and combat boots.

According to various reports, Pais flew in from Miami to Denver International Airport, bought a pump shotgun and made various threats to schools in the Denver metro area.

Authorities said the threats she made were general and not specific to any school.

Currently, there is a state wide search for the 18-year-old. She was last seen in the foothills west of Denver.

She is considered armed and extremely dangerous. Authorities are saying she should not be approached.

Her parents are located in Surfside, Florida where the FBI are conducting an interview. She was last seen Monday by her parents. They reported her missing on Sunday.
