Can I get a meow?

Windsor is now the first official U.S. home of Intersand America Corporation, a global cat litter company based out of Canada.

According to The Greeley Tribune, the company chose Windsor for its American debut due to the town's close proximity to Wyoming's bentonite clay mines, which can be accessed through the Great Western Railway.

On top of bringing more cat litter options to the U.S., the company's presence is expected to provide a welcome boost to the local economy.

"The opening of our U.S. facility provides a key U.S. distribution hub to serve our rapidly expanding U.S. presence while also creating timely local jobs," said Stephane Chivegny, CEO of Intersand, in a press release.

The Windsor location, which began construction at the Great Western Industrial Park in September of 2019, is estimated to have a $1 million economic impact over the next decade, creating over 30 local jobs in just five years.
