It's about beer, you get that. But what exactly are they doing this week in Downtown Loveland? We have the info.

The inaugural Downtown Beer Week is about celebrating the craft beer created at the FIVE breweries in Downtown.

Big Thompson

Crow Hop

Loveland Aleworks

Rock Coast

Verboten

[Big Thompson may stand out, because it's not on 4th or 5th Streets, but its location is considered as being a part of Downtown Loveland.]

All of the featured breweries will have activities going on at their locations throughout the week. There will also be a special 'Iron Brewer Competition:'

Each of the breweries has created a beer with a 'secret ingredient' that they drew at random at the end of September; those beers will be released on Monday the 14th. On Thursday The Pourhouse will host a 'tap takeover' starting at 8 p.m. featuring all of those beers, so the public can vote to determine the 'Iron Brewer.'

On Saturday, Crow Hop will be having its 6th anniversary party with a bunch of fun things going on; and Loveland Aleworks will be hosting the annual Zombie Crawl from 4-7 p.m.

On Sunday, the Brew Hop Trolley will be giving free rides Noon-6 p.m. on the 'loop' visiting all five of the breweries.

Though Rock Bottom and Buckhorn are excluded this time around, this will be a great week to take in the fantastic beers that are being made in Loveland.
