Jordan Is No Longer Intimidated By Golf Thanks to Cattail Creek
The sport of golf has long intimidated me.
My own lack of knowledge and skill made me terrified to even try. Then there's the stereotype of fancy and pricey country clubs, and the perfection of pro golfers — it seems overwhelming for a beginner.
But a recent trip to Loveland's Cattail Creek course has changed my perspective on golf forever.
Cattail Creek at 2116 W. 29th St. is a non-stereotypical golf course with a mini-course, range targets and a three-hole round that's perfect for beginners.
It was easy to get started, even for a novice like me. It has given me confidence I can take on a full 18 holes in the future.
You don't need any experience to start at Cattail Creek because they have specialized equipment that makes it easy to learn. Color-coded grips help you perfect the proper grip, and larger balls help you focus your swing and master the fundamentals.
Price is always something has driven myself and others from the sport. But Cattail Creek breaks that stereotype as well.
The mini-course costs just $7 for nine holes for adults. Kids ages 5-12 can golf the mini course for $6, and kids 4 and under can golf the mini course for free.
Needless to say, I'm no longer scared to take on the golf course thanks to Cattail Creek. Check out the video below to see what everything looks like.
