It has been more than a year since most of us in Colorado have gone into a store without a mask. King Soopers has announced that on May 20 that fully vaccinated customers will no longer need to wear a mask while shopping inside the store. Kroger announced the policy change that will align with the CDC guidance for mask-wearing.

According to KDVR, fully vaccinated customers and most fully vaccinated employees will no longer need to wear masks at stores, plants, distribution centers, etc. unless otherwise stated by local and state guidelines.

Employees of Kroger will still be required to wear a mask if they are not fully vaccinated or work in the pharmacy or clinic locations of the stores.   Kroger is requesting that customers who have not been fully vaccinated wear masks while in-store.

Colorado is currently following the same guidelines of the CDC. Currently, in most cases, Coloradans that have been fully vaccinated do not need to wear a mask in most settings.
