Most will admit that the Great White shark is one of the most intimidating animals ever. This beast though defies all odds and perhaps the largest shark ever.

The video that recently surfaced was provided by diver Mauricio Hoyos Padilla after he found it on his computer and posted it to his Facebook page. He can't remember who was actually on the camera but the film was shot in 2013 near Mexico’s Guadalupe Island in 2013.

The female shark named "Deep Blue" was pregnant and just massive although researchers say being pregnant didn't make her the biggest shark ever caught on film because she would have been the biggest anyway. Shark experts say that it is also next to impossible to tell if sharks are actually pregnant or just had a big meal.

"Deep Blue" though measured in around 20 feet long and her girth was that of a really fat hippo. She is believed to be at least 50 years old and the largest Great White to ever be filmed and tagged.

The largest Great White ever recorded (no record of being filmed) was caught off Cojimar, Cuba and measured just over 21 feet long and the estimated weight was around 7,302 pounds.
