Local heath officials are easing anxiety today after the first case of Coronavirus has been reported in Larimer County.

Larimer County Department of Health and Environment spokesperson Katie O'Donnell told the Coloradoan that they don't expect an outbreak of cases in Northern Colorado.

Our (coronavirus) risk is really, really low here. It's cold and flu season, so we're seeing a lot of not COVID-19 coronavirus — just colds — and flu.

O'Donnell went on to tell the Coloradoan that she recommends staying home if you're sick to prevent spreading any illness.

The Center for Disease Control says if you think you've been exposed to Coronavirus call your doctor immediately. Symptoms include respiratory illness, such as cough or difficulty breathing.
