As if summer road construction isn't annoying enough, I've got bad news for you: it's about to get worse.

Weather permitting, Lemay Avenue will close from July 14-18 near the Riverside intersection while crews repair the Great Western Railway railroad, the Coloradoan reports. The result should be a smoother out crossing with fewer drivers slowing to a near-stop as they pass over the tracks (hopefully), so that's a plus.

Detour signs will be posted along Riverside, Mulberry, Prospect, and Timberline to direct drivers around the intersection.
