My wife has been a Christmas angel this year. She has been baking cookies with the grandkids and teaching all about making Christmas goodies. It is so cool to look in the kitchen and see her at the table with the boys and a bunch of icing making cookie art. It is one of my favorite things to see, feel and smell during the season.

There are so many tasty goodies this time of the year that you can feel your pants tightening a bit just by smelling it all. I have some favorite cookies that my bride makes every year, just like my mom used to. She makes these cut out sugar cookies in holiday shapes and then puts a delicious icing on them.
