Following a search warrant that was executed on Wednesday, March 20 in Loveland, multiple organizations successfully assisted in dismantling a cross-country LSD distribution operation. Members of the Northern Colorado Drug Task Force and the Larimer County Regional SWAT Team served the search warrant at 3213 Overlook Lane, which resulted in seized evidence, as well as an arrest, both linked to a national LSD distribution operation.

Ronald Williams was arrested from the Loveland residence on a no bond warrant out of North Carolina for charges of Distribution of Over 1000 Doses of Hallucinogens. The evidence found on scene confirmed distribution of the drug.

The Mocksville Police Department Vice Narcotics Unit and Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office led the investigation, but several other agencies in both Colorado and North Carolina had a huge involvement in the case, including the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office Strategic Enforcement Unit, Drug Enforcement Agency - Denver, Drug Enforcement Agency - Fort Collins, United States Postal Inspectors and the Northern Colorado Drug Task Force. The Loveland Fire Rescue Authority Hazmat Team and Thompson Valley Emergency Medical Services also provided special assistance on scene, due to the potential of dangerous chemicals, however no hazards were found.
