The Facebook post garnered dozens of shares and comments from the school community praising Dr. Eshleman and expressing support for his appearance on the show.

It hasn't been said why Dr. Eshleman will be a guest on Carlson's show, but Carlson has been an outspoken figure throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, largely opposing restrictions, masks, vaccine mandates and more.

Last month, the Coloradoan reported that Resurrection Christian School had initially 'rejected' Larimer County Department of Health and Environment's guidelines for COVID-19 protocol. For example, when the 2021 school year started, the private school did not require masks while the public schools in the area did. The article also stated that Resurrection was at risk of being shut down by the county, but the superintendent told parents that health officials did not have authority, and that they 'were not allowed' on the premises.

So, we could connect the dots on why Eshleman may be on Thursday's show with Carlson.

On its website, the school does have COVID-19 protocols listed, including exposure and quarantine instructions. 'If ANYONE in your home has tested positive for COVID-19, or you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive please keep your children home and notify the school,' the site says.
