The mandates keep on coming and it doesn't look like they're going away anytime soon.

The latest is sure to cause a big stir for many because this is simply one of those things that you're completely in favor of or completely against. There's not much gray area here.

Starting on January 4, 2021, if you work for a company that has 100 or more people, you will be required to get the COVID vaccine or agree to be tested weekly under the government rules that just took effect.

According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), this will affect about 84 million workers, at least the portion of those that are currently not vaccinated.

Even stricter rules are going to be in effect for medical workers in hospitals, nursing homes and places like that with those particular workers not having a testing option and vaccinations being 100% mandatory.

My wife and I are both vaccinated and that's a choice that WE made but know plenty of people who aren't vaccinated and have no plans to ever get vaccinated and we can respect that decision as well.

In my personal opinion, when anyone starts demanding someone get a vaccine and put something in their body that they're not comfortable with or might not agree with 100% is a slippery slope but then again...we are living in a weird time right now and with everything going on with this Covid stuff....the fact that we're coming up on 2 years of dealing with this is mind blowing.

If you happen to work for a company that has 100 or more employees, here's what you need to know...

1. Workers will need to receive either two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine by Jan. 4.

2. Unvaccinated employees must submit a verified negative test to the company at least once a week and wear face masks on the job.

3. Employees who test positive must be removed from the workplace.
