A massive independent search for missing Chaffee County woman Suzanne Morphew will begin on Thursday (September 24).

Andrew Moorman, Suzanne's older brother, is traveling to Colorado from his hometown of Alexandria, Indiana, to lead the search, which will last for six days.

However, Moorman does not believe that his sister is still alive, telling FOX21 that he wants "to bring her back home and give her a proper burial."

He also expressed dismay at the fact that Suzanne's husband, Barry Morphew, is not a part of the search.

But Morphew told FOX21 that Moorman did not ask him to join the search, which he called a "publicity stunt."

Despite Morphew's claim, the Chaffee County Sheriff's Office and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation will be on the scene to aid in the search.

Suzanne disappeared from Chaffee County on May 10 after going for a bike ride and never returning. Moorman's last contact with her was on May 2.
