May is Fort Collins Museum of Discovery Month

It's official, according to the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery's Instagram stories: May is FCMOD month!

The photo was posted this morning and features an official seal from Mayor Wade Troxell, so it's time to take advantage of the remaining days of May and get your museum time on.

According to The Coloradoan, FCMOD "is now one of 1,070 museums across the country, and 22 in Colorado, to be accredited by the American Alliance of Museums — 'the highest national recognition afforded to the nation's museums'" (Source).
