Missing Lakewood Teen Doesn’t Know How She Got to Walmart

Many questions have yet to be answered after a 15-year-old Lakewood girl went missing on Monday (and has since been found).

Denver7 reported Monday that Angelina San Andres went missing at around 7:30 a.m. Monday from her home in the 12100 block of West Nevada Drive in Lakewood. Police launched a wide search and issued an Amber Alert, later finding her at a Walmart a few blocks away shortly before 1 p.m. Monday.

According to investigators, San Andres called police from the Walmart and told them she didn't know how she got there. However, she did tell police she was kidnapped.

Police continue to investigate the case as a possible abduction.
