I am starting a new weekly feature here on the website called "Classic Cut Friday". I love the old country songs and thought this would be a good way to feature some of the great songs from country music's past. I grew up on country music and have been here at K99 since the late 80's so I have heard it all and can't wait to dip into the vault and feature some of the greats. I will be featuring everyone from Waylon, Merle and George to Trisha, Reba, and Loretta.

Today on my way in to work I had this one stuck in my head. I started singing "Shake the Sugar Tree" by Pam Tillis. This one went to number 3 in 1992. Pam was hot as fire then with songs like "Maybe It Was Memphis", "Let That Pony Run", "Mi Vida Loca" and many other killer songs. Here is that top 5 hit from 26 years ago that has been swimming around my brain. Enjoy! I will be looking forward to this each Friday.
