It's been a long, cold winter both with freak snowstorms and COVID-19 shutting our favorite businesses down. However, thanks to vaccines and beautiful weather on the way, we're beginning to see the light.

One of my favorite parts about sunny Colorado weather is sitting outside on the patios of my favorite breweries and sipping new releases as well as old favorites until the sunset signals closing time. After a long absence, we'll finally be able to do that again at New Belgium very soon.

The brewery's Fort Collins location posted an Instagram on March 30 announcing that their patio will reopen on Thursday, April 22.

In October of 2020, NBB announced that because of shorter days, the smoky atmosphere, and the lingering threats of COVID-19, they'd decided to shut down table service indefinitely. They've still been offering their brews locally all around Northern Colorado as well as for curbside pickup and to-go from their brewery. Other local breweries nearby, like Odell Brewing Company, decided to continue table service with limited capacity and reservation systems.

However, as vaccines become more readily available and much of Colorado reaches the next step in ending the pandemic, sitting outside at our favorite brewery is now a reality. After NBB's patio reopens on April 22, you can sit on the patio Thursday through Monday from 12 to 8 p.m.
