Ask any lighting professional and they'll tell you the power of lights to create a feeling. The feeling can't be denied when Downtown Fort Collins gives us over 3 months of magic and beauty with strung lights.

It's that time of year where 22 blocks of led lights will illuminate old buildings and trees throughout Old Town. The annual “flip on” is at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1. We are lucky enough to enjoy the lights through Valentine’s Day.

There is a Holiday Lighting Ceremony from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1 in Old Town Square. It's free and open to the public.

The dazzling display of low energy and sustainable LED lights can be enjoyed anywhere along College Avenue, the northern boundary of Laporte Avenue and continuing south to Magnolia Street.
