Pirate Picnic at North Lake Park in Loveland on May 18

Aye, matey! Gather ye kiddos and ye picnic baskets and join the fun on Saturday, May 18, 2019. 

The third Saturday in May is National Kids Parks Day, and Loveland will be celebrating like Jack Sparrow with a Pirate Picnic.

It'll be held at North Lake Park, starting at 11 a.m. You do need to bring your own picnic, but the City of Loveland Parks & Recreation Department will be bringing out their mobile recreation trailer full of fun and games.

You may see a lot of folks doing a GPS treasure hunt (slots are already filled), as well. It's one of three that the city has scheduled.
