If you need RC car parts, puzzles or Magic the Gathering cards, you'll want to stop into the Fort Collins Hobbytown USA before January 31.

The owner, Gary Kolm, tells the Coloradoan that he is closing the store because he doesn't need all the space and he's looking to "simplify his life."

He went on to say that he would like to re-open in a space that is about half of the current 10,500 square foot building. However, he has no plans to do so at this time.

Kolm explained his thoughts on a potential new space to the Coloradoan:

The store can host activities and provide fun/healthy alternatives for today’s youth to get them off the screens. The retail experience today needs to be more entertainment than just putting product on the shelves.
