The I-25 North Express Lanes Project will be at it this coming weekend to move traffic onto the new bridge that goes over the interstate.

Something to keep in mind for this last weekend of April.

Starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, April 24, the Colorado Department of Transportation will be completely shutting down I-25 at Prospect Road, including the on and off ramps in both north and south directions.

The I-25 North Express Lanes Project, from Highway 56 in Mead north to Mulberry Road in Fort Collins, includes a new bridge for Prospect to go over I-25.

The detours that they will have in place will have travelers using the northbound and southbound frontage roads, getting onto and off of I-25 at Mullberry.

They should have the work done, and the detours removed by 5 a.m. on Monday, April 27, just in time for Colorado's 'Stay-at-Home' order to move to a 'Safer-at-Home' order.
