Some Coloradans plan to show they are fed up with the state's Stay-At-Home order this weekend.

A group called "ReOpen Colorado" is staging a protest Sunday, according to CBS4 Denver.

The protest planned for outside of the state capitol in Denver. The group is demanding governor Jared Polis repeal the Stay-At-Home order.

The governor spoke this week of what it will take to reopen the state.

There have been similar protests taking place around the country, but at this point this is the first of its kind in the state of Colorado.

Participants at the Denver protest on Sunday are being asked to show up no later than 1 p.m. and remain in their cars throughout the event to still practice social distancing. Protesters will be honking their horns, decorating their vehicles and making signs.

Colorado's current stay-at-home order was put into place on March 26 and is set to expire on midnight on April 26.
