Poudre School District employees are doing their best to help students who need food while schools are closed.

Jaime Raper works for PSD and she shared the amazing work they are doing to help students in our community.

It is my pleasure to keep students fed. We just heard that the three schools last week packed up and gave out 6,500 meals and it’s getting busier everyday.

Jaime's team packed up 'grab and go' meals for the PSD students, which are distributed to kids Monday through Friday from noon to 1 p.m. According to the Poudre School District's website, each meal includes a lunch and food for breakfast the next day. The district also plans to deliver meals to certain mobile home communities for kids who don't have a means of transportation to the pickup sites.
