On Saturday, December 15, 2019, a Pueblo man was cited for animal cruelty by police after he threw a puppy at a car after having meth for the first time.

The Pikes Peak Humane Society took the puppy in and named him 'Bob.' According to Denver7, many, many folks wanted to adopt Bob. So, the Humane Society created a lottery; folks had to come in person to fill out paperwork and put their name in the hat.

On Friday afternoon, December 27, 2019, a woman from Peyton (northeast of Colorado Springs) won the lottery. She's decided to call him 'Buddy Jr.'

Have a great life, Buddy Jr.
