It's hard to believe, but Halloween is already right around the corner! Many of the corn mazes and other Halloween attractions in our area have already opened. That being said it is time to start looking for a pumpkin if you plan to carve one this year; luckily there are plenty of pumpkin patches right here in Northern Colorado to choose one from. Here is a list of the larger pumpkin patches near Fort Collins, Loveland and Greeley.

Fritzler's Corn Maze is known in Northern Colorado as one of the best corn mazes you can visit. The site also includes a giant pumpkin patch encompassing a seven acre selection that should offer plenty of options to find that perfect gourd to carve up and put out on the front step for Halloween. Pumpkins are reasonably prized by the pound.

The Northern Colorado Corn Maze operates from October 4th through the 31st. Their corn maze is over 15 acres, so make sure that you leave yourself ample time to make it out. They offer a pumpkin patch as well with acres to choose from; pumpkins are again priced per pound. Sizes range from a softball to 100 Ibs.

The Harvest Farm Fall Festival near the Wellington area brings a plethora of fun events for the fall. It is opens September 28th and runs through the end of October. As well as a 10-acre corn maze, the farm also features a large pumpkin patch with all shapes, sizes and colors. Pumpkins are $.35 a pound and the staff will help you get them out to the car if needed.

Anderson Farms is open starting September 25th, and is open daily until November 2nd. Their haunted maze, Terror In The Corn, is one not to miss. The farm's pumpkin patch has options from $2 to $25 and you can also buy decorative gourds for $1 to $2 at the gift store.

The pumpkin patch at Bartels Farm is open September 17th to October 31st daily. Over the years the farm has continued to grow more and more pumpkins and now have decorative gourds, Indian corn a the like. Pumpkins start at only $1.

Crazed Corn Field Maze boasts a 20 acre maze for you to test your patience and directional abilities. The farm opens on September 27th and operates daily through November 2nd. The pumpkin patch has a large selection starting at only $1 and the farm also has a variety of specialty items including Cinderella Pumpkins, White Pumpkins, Cotton Candy Pumpkins, Fall Squash, Pie Pumpkins, Mini Pumpkins, Large and Small Indian Corn, Small Gourds, Bird house & Swan Gourds. The site also sells Hay Bales and large Corn Stalks.
