I used to hate coffee, but when I tried my first pumpkin spice latte in 2014, I sent myself into an endless spiral of debt and over-caffeination everything changed.

My love for coffee began to flourish, and I now look forward to pumpkin spice each fall.

Well, fall is officially here now, baby. October has started and I am ready to let my white girl flag fly. So, in order to have an excuse to buy coffee for work help the greater good of humanity, I have decided to review pumpkin spice products all October long.

Okay, so this next review isn't totally coffee focused, but pumpkin spice food needs representation too.

This week I stopped by my local Dunkin' Donuts to try their seasonal Pumpkin Munchkins (technically stylized as MUNCHKINS®, but that's a bit aggressive, so I'm going lower case).

I love Munchkins because they're cheap and offer just the right amount of sweetness without going overboard. However, I hadn't tried the pumpkin flavor before, so this was a new experience for me.

I'm not going to lie, they are not very attractive looking from the outside. Don't read this next part if you don't want to ruin your appetite, but they kind of reminded me of animal turds.

You can see what I mean, right? But their unsightly appearance was no match for my sweet tooth, and I tried them anyway.

And...they were pretty good. They honestly just tasted like a tiny pumpkin muffin, but with added glaze.

They aren't anything special, but if you're looking for a treat and want to get into the autumn spirit, these are a yummy, cheap option (I paid less that $2 for five).

Depending on the time of day and what store you go to, your local Dunkin' might not have these in stock. However, they're sure to have some other pumpkin product to satisfy your fall cravings.

If you missed last week's review of Starbucks' Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, you can find that here. Check back next week for another Pumpkin Spice PSA.
