In honor of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, RainDance in Windsor, Colorado will be honoring those who have served in a special Remembrance Day event.

From 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, RainDance will be full of events and recognitions to celebrate and honor those who lost their lives in 9/11, those who served, and those who are currently serving.

RainDance has also committed to donating a percentage of the proceeds from the event to support the Weld RE-4 School District, American Legion Post 109, Windsor Police Department, and Windsor Severance Fire Rescue.

The day will start with an opening ceremony and a moment of silence for the fallen. That will be followed by an F-16 fly-over by Buckley Boyz. RainDance has also organized a performance of "Amazing Grace", taps, and the Pledge of Allegiance to kick off the event.

For the rest of the day, there will be dozens of things to see and do. Spectra StuntMasters will be at the event hosting BMX and motorcycle activities. RainDance will also be having a strongest man monster truck pull, as well as a truck and tractor pull.

A little after 7 p.m., there will be a 21 gun salute and a patriotic fireworks show a little after 9:30 p.m.

In addition, on the day of the event, if you visit seven model homes, you'll have a chance to win one of one hundred $150 Visa Cash Gift Cards and one of six four-packs of Colorado Eagles tickets.
