Few things are better to a meat eater than a nice big beefy beef sandwich with a little gravy and a lot of flavor. This recipe is easy, quick and terribly terrific. Let's get cracking!

What You'll Need:

The beauty of this is
you can go inexpensive
and still have a great
meal.

I go for the minute steaks
or the breakfast steaks,
whatever your market calls
them. Very thin in the fresh
meat aisle. figure 2 or 3
per sandwich.
season all, garlic powder
and ground pepper to taste
butter and canola oil 50/50
for frying about a tsp of each
should do the job, maybe a splash
more.
2-4 Tbsp lite Mayo
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp garlic powder
french hoggie rolls
(crunchy outside soft inside)
lettuce, onions, tomatoes-optional
1 can low sodium beef broth
1 Tbsp butter, unsalted

Putting It All Together:

preheat oven to 225
wrap rolls in foil and place
in oven while you prepare the
steaks and gravy
mix the mayo and rosemary with the
garlic powder in a small bowl
and put in refrigerator while
preparing the steak and rolls
sear the steaks in the butter and oil
blend on medium heat this should take
about a minute or two per side, remove
cooked steaks aside and cover with foil
add the beef broth to the hot pan and
reduce heat to medium, stirring the
broth and get the bits and pieces that
stuck to the pan, add the Tbsp of butter
and stir to blended in, reduce heat
to medium low and let reduce for five
minutes.

coat rolls with the rosemary garlic
mayo, add steaks and drizzle on some of
the gravy.

serve with cheesy mac and cheese.
