Recipe Rescue: Pizza Loaf for a Crowd, Dinner or Quiet Don’t Tell Anyone Snack
Recently I saw a recipe that made me say, hmmm! I thought what a great idea now how can I do it differently? I think I figured it out and the yummy wagon is waiting to take you to tastyville. Okay, goofy talk aside, check this out.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
2 cans of crescent rolls, marinara sauce, pepperoni, pizza cheese or Italian cheese (shredded) and Italian seasoning
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:
Remove the crescents from the can laying each intact set of crescent rolls side by side on the counter, brush one piece with the marinara sauce and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, add a layer of cheese, a layer of pepperoni and repeat. Now take the second piece of crescent rolls and lay atop the cheese and pepperoni and fork pinch the pieces together. Place this 'loaf' on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil if you have it and sprinkle on some more Italian seasoning. Bake at 375 degrees for about 12-14 minutes.
