Recipe Rescue: Rachel’s Yummy Pork Loin
Rachel of Wellington pulls out all of the stops with this tasty Pork Loin recipe.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
3-4 lb Pork Loin Roast, black pepper, 3-4 Golden Delicious Apples (cored and sliced), 1 Cup of White Wine, 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar and 3 tsp ground ginger
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:
Season Pork Loin with pepper and brown under the broiler on all sides. Put the Apple pieces at the bottom of the crock pot and set the roast on top. In a bowl whisk together the wine, sugar and ginger and pour over the roast. Cook on high for one hour then reduce the temperature to low and cook 8-10 hours. Serve with rice, carrots and a salad.
